TPAC art Show - Bernadette Resha
Friday, May 9, 2008The popular Tennessee Performing Arts Center will showcase artist Bernadette Resha in the Polk Lobby from May 5th through June 29th.Bernadette Resha of Nashville is well known in the art community. Her exposure to the art world and culture started as a child attending as many art galleries, museums, concert halls and plays as her time would allow. From an early age, she was encouraged to draw and color in her own style as a form of expression and therapy. This has resulted in a body of work which documents an artist developing a unique style entirely her own. Please go to TPAC and see these two extraordinary artists. Also, a special thanks to MTSU students Jennifer McNeese, Brittany Butler and Andrew Gallo who began the process of getting the exhibition to take place and who selected the two artists. Also, a huge thank you to Melissa Brett at TPAC who has had to hold my hand a lot through this first exhibition and has provided a huge assistance to both VSA and the artists. Thanks to Bernadette for her participation and to Gwen Resha for all of her assistance.
